Padua, 18-20 February: RedTurtle Technology at the "Culture without barriers" Convention
RedTurtle Technology's Massimo Azzolini, in its role of provider of a bibliographic meta-search engine to the University of Padua, will demonstrate the application during an event managed by the University's Center for Libraries and by the Disability Service.
The "Biblioteca Virtuale Italiana Testi in Formato Alternativo" project by the University of Padua will be the subject of a workshop within the "Culture without barriers" Convention organized by the same university.
RedTurtle Technology designed a Plone meta-search to provide a single front-end to different, sectorial bibliographic search Web engines: this solution, innovative in many respects, is an important tile of the initiative presented in Padua. The recent subscription to PloneGov by the Center for Libraries preludes to the possible reuse of the same application by other similar organizations.
