After some months of bureaucratic delay in contract registration, at last we can share this good news for RedTurtle. The Regional Agency for Environment Protection of Veneto Region shifts to Plone.
The call for tenders, the most relevant ever issued with a specific request for Plone, includes remarkable interventions on the physical architecture of the web infrastructure, the migration of current contents of several sub-sites, and extensive integrations with local web services and databases.
System performance is ensured by the correct balance of physical and virtual servers, and by sophisticated caching strategies: RedTurtle's technical proposal was awarded the maximum score available. RedTurtle will also take charge of the training - at all levels - of ARPAV technical personnel.
